Good Friday To Hope For Easter Miracle

Good-Friday-To-Hope-For-Easter-Miracle

Today is a Good Friday to hope for Easter Miracle. Actually it is the perfect Good Friday to hope for an Easter blessing.

Over the time we have called Good Friday “good,” even if is such a dark event commemorating a day of suffering and death of Jesus Christ. We can do the same now. We can keep faith on a Good Friday that doesn’t feel so good.

One way to do this is for us all to include in our prayers that this Easter energy be directed to heal everything that the world needs right now.

Today is Good Friday. And we can navigate uncertainty with courage.

Courage is an interesting emotion. It does not denies fear. Actually courage invites fear in, in order to accepts it and to manage not to be afraid of fear itself.

It take courage to have faith in times when so many people have lost faith.

Many positive people has gone silent in the past week. It feels like they are shocked by what is going on. Where is the power of positive thinking? Where is the power of the law of attraction? How can be vibrate at the level of joy in these challenging times?

In life there will always be a choice to make. I remember reading in a book “you always have a choice over your thoughts and feelings”. The book was inviting me to use this choice. But in these times I wonder if this choice has value anymore. Do thoughts and emotions matter anymore in the current state of the world?

Where is the power of healers, of light workers? Why can’t they just heal the world and make things good again?

But have you wondered what is the deeper meaning of all this? Have you thought about your soul lately?

It seems to me like we are giving to much importance on the body these days. We forgot about the importance of the soul. But here it is, the Good Friday has come. A Good Friday to think about your spirit.

It seems to me that we are invited to think positive only if it solves the current situation. It feels like positive emotions are good only if they solve the humanity crisis in which we currently are. Beauty has lost its meaning and value. What is beautiful today? Almost nothing. Or day by day the beauty decreases… until all the beauty of the world will disappear.

I don’t like this way of negative thinking. And I think you don’t like it either. This is one strong reason to choose positive thinking. Someone said “Choose to be optimistic, it feels better”. That someone is Dalai Lama XIV.

Optimism lost so much power over the coronavirus, COVID-19 that has now spread to a number of countries. Why?

People expect that optimism, positive thinking, positive words, positive feelings and emotions solve problems and situations. This is the basis of their choice to choose optimism or not. But Dalai Lama kept it simple, he said choose optimism because it feels better.

And what a better good day for choosing optimism than the Good Friday. Like always, Today is a good day to start.

You might need to read an inspiring story to give you a reset. We are inspired by other people so many times. And this is good. I have found this amazing story on Forbes that will give you all the power you need to choose optimism Keeping Faith On A Good Friday That Doesn’t Feel So Good.

Also, you might need to paint some eggs for the Easter that is coming. And you might want to paint some good Easter words on those eggs. I actually advise you to paint kind and motivating words on the Easter eggs this year. Get inspired from two of our amazing vocabulary lists:

Etymology

“Good Friday” comes from the obsolete sense “pious, holy” of the word “good”. In Old English, the day was called “Long Friday”, and this term was adopted from Old English and is still used in Scandinavian languages and Finnish.

Significance

On Good Friday we remember that Jesus willingly suffered and died by crucifixion as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. It is followed by Easter, the glorious celebration of the day Jesus was raised from the dead, proving his victory over sin and death and pointing ahead to a future resurrection for all who are united to him by faith.

What is Faith?

The one responsible for giving an answer to this question is you.

It is the same responsibility as you needing to give yourself the answer to the question Who am I? Someone was saying that it’s strange to ask another person the question Who am I? Because the person you are asking might be a flight attendant that could yell in the entire aeroport: Does someone know who this person is, because he doesn’t know who he is.

But I can give you a little help in discovering what faith is.

According to the dictionary faith is a belief in God or in a set of religious doctrines. You might say that you do not believe in God. And this is ok, it’s your choice. Also according to the dictionary faith is the confidence or unquestioning belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea or thing.

Therefore the big question What is Faith gets split into questions like: What are your values? What is your deep truth? What are you confident about? What do you believe in?

Answering this questions will anchor you in a deeper meaning of life, a deeper truth where your soul resides.

Faith is Trust, Belief, Confidence, Assurance, Reliance and it’s opposite to Uncertainty, Doubt, Distrust.

Have faith. Stay optimistic. Think positive. Appreciate. Be grateful. Smile. These are not meaningful affirmations. These are powerful affirmation. Give them a deeper meaning. Connect them with your soul.

And remember to paint some eggs with good words!

Positive Words That Help Evoke Self-confidence

Positive_words_that_help_evoke_self-confidence

Self-confidence – An intriguing fact about your mind is that it does not know the difference between reality and imagination. Another fact is that your mind listens very carefully to every word you are saying, words that you speak and thoughts that you think day in and day out form the blueprint that you always move towards.

Positive words and phrases and why they work

If you want to teach your mind confidence, use empowering positive words. I recommend saying these to yourself as much as you possibly can:

I am enough, I matter, I am significant, and I am lovable.

No baby is born doubting himself. No baby is born thinking, “don’t look at me, I have fat legs” or “don’t look at me, I have just messed up my t-shirt.” Babies always believe they are good enough. Growing up, different events make us doubt that. Maybe your mom never had a kind word for you. Maybe your dad always expected you to get top grades and showed disappointment when you didn’t. Somehow, along the way, you learned to doubt that you are enough. In a free mini-course on self-confidence, I dive deeper into how that could have happened to you and how you can reactivate and regenerate the inner confidence you were born with.

The words that follow ‘I am’ command your mind towards a destiny, so when you say, ‘I am a loser’, that impacts you. When you say, ‘I am a winner’, it impacts you. The mind doesn’t care if what you are telling it is right or wrong, real or false; it lets it in. Saying ‘I am’, then using very powerful descriptive words allows your mind to accept the words as the absolute truth about you.

Overflowing with confidence can be achieved. There are four cornerstones of high self-confidence that will help you reach this state.

How to use the power of positive words to raise your self-confidence

Now that you know how your thoughts and your words shape your mind, it’s time to put their power into practice. There are two things I want you to do.

First, I want you to start noticing every time you are being harsh on yourself. Do you judge yourself when something goes wrong? Maybe you are late for an important meeting or often forget your car keys Maybe you consider yourself clumsy and never miss a chance to critically comment on every little slip. I want you to start noticing the negative harsh words you say about yourself and then transform them.

My daughter used to forget her school bag, but I would never tell her “you are so forgetful”. Instead, when she would appear at the front door 2 minutes after she left, I would ask her, “What did you REMEMBER,?” See? A simple word change can tell a completely different story to your mind.

The second thing I want you to do is to create many positive reminders around the house. I teach this in the free mini-course about self-assurance and will share with you right now.

You can write key statements like ‘I am enough’, ‘I am loveable’, and ‘I am significant’ on your mirror and fridge in lipstick or eyeliner, and put empowering words on your screen saver. Change the passwords that you type out on a daily basis so that they say ‘I am enough’ or ‘I matter’ or ‘I am loveable’; add numbers/characters for security reasons. When you start to say, write, and see the key positive words every day, they will absolutely sync in and make a difference. Most of us use the wrong words, and we spend all day saying ‘I am all alone’, ‘no one loves me’, and ‘I am not good enough’. Since you are already talking to your mind, you might as well talk to it positively, saying ‘I do matter’, ‘I am loveable’, and ‘I am attracting love’ because your mind will let those words in, accept them and act upon them.

11 Positive Words To Put In Your Personal Statement

personal statement

You have your scores right, know which universities you would like to attend, and have done everything possible to meet the requirements for admission. The next big hurdle is writing a personal statement. So, the emphasis is on the “personal.”

Thus, it should be unique, and since you are fighting for limited opportunities with other numerous candidates; you want yours to stand out. Sometimes, it may feel necessary to get an affordable personal statement writer. That, however, doesn’t imply that you can’t write a compelling personal statement on your own.

What is A Personal Statement?

Before the college admissions board considers you as a candidate, you have to convince them that you are suitable. A personal statement is a reflective essay that you write to UCAS (university and college admissions service), to demonstrate your level of commitment and that you are the right fit for your choice of course.

It is different from the personal statement you may write when applying for a job. Moreover, for every university you send an application to, you can only use a single personal statement. It thus emphasizes the quality of personal statement services that you get.

How you present yourself in the personal statement will determine whether or not the board will want to meet, offer you a place, or leave an impression on them.

Emphasis on Writing Persuasively

The arguments you lay out in a personal statement has to persuade those reviewing the applications that you deserve a place in the college or university. It all boils down to the words you use in the personal statement:

  • Use the first Person. Any experienced personal statement writing service will use the reference “I”, in writing a personal statement. The same applies to you. Write as if you are talking to someone about yourself. Watch out that you don’t overuse it, however.
  • Choice of words. What you write about yourself should exude an upbeat tone. That implies you should refrain from using negative words. Also, you should keep away from qualifying words, such as, somewhat, entirely, and probably.
  • Be direct. Too many qualifying words may take away the meaning of your point. Demonstrate confidence in yourself, abilities, and skills. In as much as you would like to impress the admissions board, settle for the words you are comfortable using. The wrong use of words isn’t appealing.

The Power of Positive Words

The use of positive or active words gives your application additional impact. It helps you make a stronger impression on whoever is reviewing the personal statement. You may have heard other people refer to them as buzzwords.

You can use these words in describing the achievements you have made and any responsibilities you have taken. Using targeted active verbs shows that you are a person who takes action and has initiative.

Power words show precision and clarity in your statement. It will help you get ahead of other candidates, as they give you the confidence to communicate your ideas. There are many keywords, worth incorporating into your statement but we will only list 11 that many can use:

  1. Achieved: to expound on the accomplishments you have made.
  2. Built: it can be a way to show your innovative side. And something that’s out of the box is a great place to start.
  3. Completed: everybody wants someone who can finish whatever they start, or is given to them.
  4. Demonstrated: use it to highlight your abilities or skills mastered over the years, or through a particular experience.
  5. Executed: You should prove that you take the initiative and don’t need to have someone pushing you before you act.
  6. Granted: it could be you excelled in a particular activity and was given a reward for it.
  7. Helped: you have to provide a helping hand to those in need. Also, you have to prove that you can give back to the society if chosen.
  8. Identified: attention to details is critical to succeed in life. It shows that you pay attention and are aware of your surroundings.
  9. Joined: you could have participated in an educational club or one that deals with the challenges the society is facing. If it is for a good cause, talk about it.
  10. Led: show your leadership abilities, in becoming a student leader or the leader of an organization. A good leader is one who can inspire others for the greater good.
  11. Met: show that you deliver or exceed on the expectations.

Conclusion

It is exciting to join the University of your Dreams finally, and purse the course of your passions. However, you first have to face this “formidable” impediment in your way, called a personal statement. Set yourself towards giving your best, it matters.

Use of power words makes you stand out but ensure that they are relevant to what you are writing. At the end of it all, make every word you use, count. Because the space to sell yourself is limited, and so are the available positions.

Much Ado About Success: Possible For Everyone?

Much Ado about Success: Possible for Everyone?

Success! What an overused, misunderstood word!

Many motivational speakers speak about what produces success. They promote varied ideas to gain it, such as writing goals, developing self-confidence, setting minds on objectives, etc. But they don’t tell what success is!

Yes, writing goals is helpful — and keeping them in front of us. Rewriting them, adjusting them, is part of that. Today, writing goals is especially helpful because of countless distractions around us, especially the non-factual.

Yet, at least one successful person never wrote down goals. Rush Limbaugh said he’s never done that—and none can claim he’s not successful in his arena, no matter our political persuasion. So, writing goals isn’t a requisite.

Self-confidence and self-esteem

Developing better self-confidence is helpful. But, the current practice of giving unwarranted ‘rewards’ for just competing causes confusion, not confidence. Plus, the culture’s habit of name-calling when people stand up for something or someone damages confidence. Yet, thinking we need to tell ourselves how smart or talented we are or how we can do something better than another isn’t the answer, either. We know within ourselves if we are smart or talented, and to compare ourselves to others is pointless.

Nothing builds self-esteem more than striving for, and doing, good — and doing what is right, despite risks. Seeking goodness, utilizing our talents in the best ways, helping others, all help us see our true worth, which develops our confidence and happiness! It may seem odd initially, but self-esteem increases humility which is attractive! Why else seek humility?

St Augustine said, “It was pride that changed angels into devils; it is humility that makes men as angels.” St Augustine was a learned man, a theologian, a philosopher, an influential man in his era and today. Could he be right?

Patience and Goals

Now, setting our minds on our ultimate objectives is important. Yet, if the goal is a long-range goal, (the best ones are!), we need the patience to live with the delay, not get discouraged and stay focused. Why else seek patience?

Psychologists report that patience is power, born of understanding! So, we grow in internal strength and endurance, making life easier, and making our bodies healthier!

Of course, for ‘believers,’ prayer is powerful for goal assistance, though we don’t always see the effect. One thing, for sure: prayer never hurts!

Our own kind of success

But striving for/gaining success is never good when it’s a result of ‘walking on others.’ If we leave a trail behind us of people hurting because of our activities/words, then that’s fake success. It cannot produce goodness but results in a rotten tree that produces rotten fruit. We may obtain more money, more power, more prestige. But in truth, we’ll be a failure. Looking inside ourselves, if we’re honest, we cannot feel good about obtaining gain through others’ losses. Though we may try to puff ourselves up, ignore our faults, and forget others’ pain, we will ultimately find misery from guilt.

If we experienced harm through someone rising in rank due to unethical practices or injustice, we cannot let ourselves sink to the same level. We can find our own success, no matter where we are, what our status is, how much we make.

Ingenuity

In addition, we don’t find success via mandated to-do lists. Without freedom of using our ingenuity, we may accomplish tasks, but not find success in them. Likewise, if we mandate others, that doesn’t create success for us or them.

I don’t claim to have all the answers. I’m no expert and I’ve not made millions or even hundreds giving advice on success. I’ve only advised teams, in several companies, and I was ‘in the trenches with them,’ working for their successes as well as mine. Most of this is based on a combination of common sense, experience as a manager and an underlying, referring to wise leaders, and studying ‘success.’

So, what is ‘success?’

‘To each, his own!’ We can be successful in challenging conversations. We can find success in difficult projects. We can appreciate success in our hobbies.

There are different degrees, different types, of success. We’re only failures if we quit trying. The famous Zig Ziglar said, “Failure is an event, not a person.” So, when we persist, we’re being successful in advancing toward our goals!

So, perhaps ‘success’ is simply found in setting our minds on goals, being patient, and doing good in helping others in the meantime!

Consider a poor, old woman who begged for food and money. She said, “When you don’t have anything, then you have everything.” Sound like success? Hint:  She didn’t beg for herself.

Actions speak for themselves

Mother Teresa served others/ loved everyone through her words and actions. She served the lowly, the dying, the dirty, never thinking about herself. In her humble work in an obscure location, was she successful?

She received the Nobel Peace Prize for spreading love, and 120 other awards/ honors, including the highest U.S. civilian award, the Presidential Medal of Freedom. But she would not claim success, only continual efforts.

Mother Teresa made powerful statements, relevant here:

If you’re kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.

If you do good today, people forget it tomorrow. Do good anyway.

If you do your best, it will never be enough. Do your best anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, some will be jealous. Be happy anyway.

If you’re successful, you’ll win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.

There’s not much to be said after that!

6 Easy Ways To Boost Your Personal Efficiency

personal efficiency

We all want to become better, that’s for sure. I bet you’re reading this line because your pursuit of excellence has led you to me. Now that we’ve met, I’d like to propose the following:

My work is different – I’m not a guru, I’m not here to improve you, and I’m not here to make you believe something. I am here because I’m the bird who sings its song without any expectations. If you care to stop and listen to me, you do so because you appreciate the beauty of the song.

Becoming a superhuman or improving your personal efficiency up to skyrocketing levels requires you to do stuff.

As far as I see it, there are several primordial aspects that one must assume and acknowledge before working on complicated aspects.

Here are 6 things you truly need to consider and apply if you really want to create long-lasting change in your personal efficiency. Start small but aim high.

1.    Meditation

First of all, you must understand what meditation really is. There’s a lot of mumbo-jumbo everywhere around the internet, so many of us don’t really understand what true meditation is.

Meditation is a state, not an activity that you must schedule. We are meditating every time we silence our thoughts and engage in the present moment. It is THAT simple.

As Mark Farley, the founder of a popular assignment help enterprise suggests, “All you have to do is start observing what’s going on around you and your body. Use your eyes as tools for vision, your nose as a tool for smelling, your ears as a tool for sound, and activate all your other senses like touch, emotions, and vibration.”

I would add an important remark…

Don’t focus on removing the thoughts. Many people make a true effort to stop their thoughts on command. That’s a trap that leads you nowhere. Instead, focus on your senses and on “now”.

2.    Knowledge of personal efficiency

“Knowledge is power” – you’ve heard it, I heard it, and our neighbors must have heard it too. It has a different meaning for each of us, yet for the wise ones, knowledge is everything.

At one point or another, you’ll understand this statement better, and it will mark the beginning of a new stage in your life.

Life’s all about lessons and growth. The moment you stop, you stop fueling what keeps you alive. For example, do you fail to do something in life? Do you fail to be disciplined or to stick to your goals? It means you do not have sufficient knowledge on how to remove the bad beliefs & habits. It means that you don’t have the “weapons” to fight back. When you embrace the knowledge that’s sitting up for grabs, your life will immediately change and your personal efficiency will boost.

3.    Harmony

Let me ask you a question. Do you live in harmony with yourself?

Simply put…Do you feel what you think?

Or…do you do what you feel?

Or…do you do what you think and feel?

Here’s the simple definition of love/balance/freedom/harmony:

Thoughts + Emotions + Actions. If they are aligned, there will be harmony. If they’re not aligned, there will be suffering.

Right now, most of us experience an internal anarchy because our thoughts, emotions, and actions are in disharmony.

You can get out of this state by simply becoming the ruler of your thoughts, emotions, and actions. Become sovereign and an internal monarch of your world and you’ll be happy and free.

4.    Self-Discovery

There are many points in life when our needs completely change. We first desire to achieve material abundance. Money, fame, power, status…that’s the standard. But then, we will hardly be delighted by the things that we’ve accomplished.

We’ll start seeking other types of experiences. We’ll start studying literature, art, history, and so on. But once we’re done with that, the process repeats.

Eventually and hopefully, we’ll start seeking true knowledge, which is the knowledge of the self. We will realize that we had it all, right here, in our own minds.

5.    Intention

They call it the law of attraction. Simply put, what you intend to happen, it will eventually happen. However, it will hardly happen if your thoughts, emotions, and actions are not sitting in balance, because you actually need to take action to develop new things here, on the physical plane.

How can you change any procrastination state, laziness, belief?

You start with the intention first. You start caring about the thing that you want to happen. Once you know and visualize what will happen, start taking action!

6.    Attachment

Don’t become attached to anything – people, feelings, thoughts, objects, states…they’re all going to trap you.

According to Buddha, the attachment is the root of all evil and the biggest block to self-realization, and that’s become when you conclude something, you make it real, and it will eventually impact you in the future.

If there are no conclusions, every experience will feel like “new”. The past represents our illusions of what happened while the future represents the illusion of what will happen. The present moment is the only thing that matters. Stay there and your attachments will soon go away.

Takeaways

So, as you may notice, there are many powerful actions you can take to arrive where you want. If you care, save this post somewhere on your desktop and keep revisiting it every now and then. Reflect on the topics discussed here and try to see the bigger picture.

Lastly, remember to keep it simple. After all, we’re all playing our individual game. Once you realize that what you’re doing is simply playing, your fear will suddenly vanish and there will be no more irrelevant suffering. You will be free and ready to conquer your world.

5 Factors That Will Lead To A Successful Project

successful project

There are many factors that contribute to a successful project. First, you must be committed to your job, passionate about your tasks, and opened to any ideas. Second, you must know how to lead your team, and what actions to take at the right time. Third, you must think about what could go wrong, and minimalize your risks. Here are the main factors to consider when leading a potentially-successful project.

1. Choose A Successful Team

Without a motivated team, there’s no successful project. Choosing “your people” is a thorough project that takes time, commitment, and a lot of energy. You can’t expect to be successful, yet work with an indolent, slow team. Your partners must be dynamic, innovative, and have bright ideas. More than that, your team must be open-minded. They should not fight for “being right,” their number one goal should be the development of the entire team.

If you hire a “single player” type of worker, he/she is not going to be fair to the team. His/her first objective will be personal growth, not team growth. You should choose effective team members who care about the project’s final outcomes and intents. Here are some qualities your team members should have:

Exceptional Communicator

Without communication, how can one be part of a team? Teams are made of people coming from different backgrounds and various communities. If not all of them are open and communicative, there will be a lack of confidence and understanding within the team. This gap in communication will negatively affect the project’s outcomes.

Organized

People who are externally disorganized cannot be internally organized.

Confident

It’s crucial to have confident people as part of your team. They must be assertive, hold tight to their ideas, but also be willing to discuss them and improve them. They must stand up for their beliefs.

2. Be Successful in Project Planning

Project planning is a very important step in the process. By planning the project properly, you make sure that the outcomes are outstanding. Key points:

  • Set a start date, and an end date. Always have those in mind when taking project actions.
  • Set a realistic period of time in which you promise to finish the project.
  • Estimate accurate costs based on future expectations.
  • Meet with stakeholders and communicate effectively.
  • Set attainable goals and prioritize whichever ones need to be finished first.
  • Assign people to their tasks by testing them beforehand, and make sure that that specific job fits them.
  • Write down your project’s main goals and why achieving them is important to the company. Some project managers I’ve met use assignment writing services to check their wording.
  • Create a well-defined schedule and stick to it.
  • Now you can start working on the project.

3. Ensure and Request Candid Communication

As I’ve mentioned before, open communication is essential when it comes to teamwork. Set team goals and objectives. Ask them “How are you going to contribute to the project?” and write down their answers. Keep them committed to the job by offering them continuous incentives. Listen to their opinions, and always take them into consideration.

If your team has any concerns, listen to them carefully and try to come up with a solution in due time. Don’t be their “boss,” be a leader and a friend. Communicate effectively, show them respect, and they will certainly do the same.

4. Manage Risks Appropriately

Leading a project is the definition of living a risky life. Even though you have everything planned out, there are many things that could go wrong. That’s why it’s always good to have a backup plan in case things don’t go the way you expected them to do.

  • Take into consideration all the risky actions that your team might take
  • Analyze them
  • Come up with solutions even before they happened
  • Write them down and keep them close in case you ever need them

It’s smart to have already-prepared solutions to problems your team hasn’t faced yet. It gives both you and the stakeholders the confidence that everything will fall into place even if challenges might pop up along the way. Manage your risks appropriately if you want to lead a successful project!

5. Have a Strong Project Closure

After the project has been finalized, the team has to gather up again and conclude that:

  • All the project requirements were successfully met
  • The stakeholders are satisfied and pleased with the team’s involvement and work towards the project
  • Everybody else involved is content with the outcomes
  • The project will stop consuming resources after its closure

All the above characteristics must be met in order to consider your project successful.

Wrap Up

A successful project consists of a successful team, successful project planning, candid and effective communication, appropriate risk management, and a strong project closure. Make sure you meet these requirements and your projects will always produce successful results.

Positive Words Research – 5 Factors That Will Lead To A Successful Project

3 Proven Ways to Find Inspiration in Monotonous Job

find inspiration

The fact that you have a job in this economy probably started off as an exciting moment in your life. With time, you might lose some of that excitement and energy, especially if your job is one of those monotonous ones. I honestly don’t blame anyone who becomes bored and practically just goes in to do what needs to be done. When you had that initial boost of energy, it probably was because it was new. Now, after a few years doing the same thing over and over again, it is understandable to feel this way.

With that being said, there are ways you can find inspiration again without switching jobs. Doing handwriting retyping a thousand times a day can become frustrating, or you can just laugh at the terrible writing. Do not get down on yourself because it is a drag in the morning. Instead, apply these ways to help you find inspiration at work again.

1. Make a difference

We all need some kind of validation that we are making some kind of impact at work. This does not have to be on a large scale. If you were to leave work tomorrow, will there be a gap or will it simply be filled with something else? When you are asked to do manuscript typing, for example, go the extra mile and make sure your work is of the highest quality. This is how you stand out at work. It’s not about adding millions of dollars to the company or rewriting all the laws. Do what you are asked to do, but add some good quality to it. You have to find inspiration in your work. Not only will it be appreciated, but you will also become more excited about what you are doing.

2. New Goals

If you are merely going to work and coming back home without any real goals, it is understandable that you will become bored. Without meaning and purpose, you are simply doing a job you get paid for. Even if there are no new projects that you can throw yourself into, create some for yourself. Perhaps you can sort out that filing cabinet you’ve been meaning to do for a while. Ask other colleagues if you can help them in any way. Switch up the routine a little. You will be able to start something new again and it will rejuvenate you all over again. Even if you do this every now and then, you will see results.

3. Find Inspiration After Work

Finding inspiration outside of work can help with what you are dealing with at the office. Life is all about balance and while typing a manuscript you can look forward to something fun after work. Take a new class or join the gym if you will. No matter what it is, you want to switch things up a bit. This kind of activities makes life feel more interesting after you knock off work.

Conclusion

Even the most monotonous jobs do not have to make you feel stuck.  Life is not just about a job and what you feel when you are there. Go to work, do your job and leave to live your life. It’s that simple.

Make Yourself a Cup of Tea: Simple Self-Care Guide to Keep You Through the Day

self-care

We all know that we have to take care of ourselves, but we don’t know how to fit it into our already busy schedules. It is actually even more important to take care of yourself when you have a hectic lifestyle that leaves you without much energy at the end of the day. As a writer, I am always in front of the computer and after a day of paraphrasing plagarism, I sometimes do not have the time for self-care. What I have realized is that self-care does not have to be extreme. It is the little things we do that can have huge impacts. Here is my simple self-care guide.

Redefine success

The pressure we put on ourselves to be successful can be a lot and if we only step away from what we are told, it might be easier. Success is different for everyone and you need to redefine it for your own life. By eliminating some of the pressure, you can find some time to breathe. This is not to say that you have to give up on your goals and dreams, but rather only focus on the ones that brings you pure joy.

Treats count

If you do not have the time to go to a spa and have a day of relaxation, give yourself a treat just for getting through the day. This can be a cup of your favorite tea or just a block of chocolate. Life should not be lived worrying about things that don’t matter. It does not have to be food. You can also do your nails at home or have a long bubble bath. There are reasons why these treats are spoken about often. It really is just about rejuvenating yourself and give you that moment to appreciate what you have.

Write

You do not have to be an ez rewriter to be writing every day. A journal is always a good idea, or simply writing something inspiring. This is a great release after you have been knocking down giants the whole day. Write about something that happened to you in the day or some place you would like to visit. No matter what it is, there is a therapeutic aspect to it that we cannot deny.

Positive self-talk

By far the most important aspect of self-care is to change all the negative thoughts in your head. It is not always as easy as flipping a switch, but with practice, you can become your own motivator. After rephrasing a sentence online for a thousand times, I might start believing that I don’t have what it take to be a writer. Instead, I would tell myself that I am such a champ for not giving up.

Music

Nothing heals the battered soul like listening to your favorite tunes. Music can be a release for so many people and what you listen to says a lot about you and the space you are in mentally. Put your feet up and press that play button. Being able to relate to some of the words in a song can make you feel like the world understands you.

Conclusion

Do not neglect yourself on your road to success. Happiness has always been more important than making another buck. Enjoy your life and remember that you are your biggest asset, so take care of you.

The Therapeutic Power of Positive Words

therapeutic power

To be successful at what you are doing, it is important to remain positive about it. You can only get something if you think you can. Conversely, you are likely to fail if you think you can’t. Good words help people to feel better, stronger and much happier.

As a little girl said in the poem about positive lifestyle and “weird positive attitude to any grief”-style: “I play this game for so long that I don’t notice it“. This means that anyone can make themselves happy if they chose to. It all depends on how positive they are towards life.

It has been proven by scientists and psychologist that positive self-talk enhances the kick-start of a neural chain response that is a key motivation for success.

Positive Words for Success

Everyone has the power to turn themselves on towards success and happiness. This is possible through the choice of positive words. These words spark a positive mindset and prompt our free-will to get into action.

In Pollyanna, Eleanor H. Porter says, “When you look for the bad, expecting it, you will get it. When you know you will find the good—you will get that….”

This exemplifies the power of words and how we can make use of positive words to get what we want. Scientists have been able to prove that creating positive sentence structures can trigger a physical reaction that enhances strength. By saying “Yes, it is possible!” can form a self-fulfilling insight.

Staying Positive at All Times

Positive words will help you stay positive for the longest time. When you keep hearing a word related to some physical action will automatically enhance the force with which you will grip objects. If the word’s presentation is negative, there will not be increased strength.

There will always be increased strength through affirming words in a sentence. However, it won’t be any reaction when same words are spoken in a negative form.  According to Porter, “… there is something about everything that you can be glad about if you keep hunting long enough to find it.”

It is therefore needed for people to stay positive for the longest time and this can only be achieved through the continued use of positive words.

A reason to stay positive

It doesn’t matter what is being pursued as long as there is a positive sense through affirming words that present a positive sense. You got to find a reason to stay positive about everything despite the challenges on the way.

Further, on the power of words, Pollyanna’s author says “Oh, yes; the game was to just find something about everything to be glad about—no matter what it’was”. Shift focus on the only positive aspects and use positive words to identify with it. This is the power need to keep going.
Positive words have the therapeutic power to comfort and heal.

The incredible and therapeutic power of words is the difference between achievers and the rest.

If we all look at what we are supposed to do in life, we would probably quit all the time looking at what amount of work laid before us.

However, positive words are all we need to make progress and move on. According to Porter, “What men and women need is an encouragement. Their natural resisting powers should be strengthened, not weakened.

Therefore, it is very important to stay positive and this can only be sustained and reinforced through the use of positive words.
