The Therapeutic Power of Positive Words

therapeutic power

To be successful at what you are doing, it is important to remain positive about it. You can only get something if you think you can. Conversely, you are likely to fail if you think you can’t. Good words help people to feel better, stronger and much happier.

As a little girl said in the poem about positive lifestyle and “weird positive attitude to any grief”-style: “I play this game for so long that I don’t notice it“. This means that anyone can make themselves happy if they chose to. It all depends on how positive they are towards life.

It has been proven by scientists and psychologist that positive self-talk enhances the kick-start of a neural chain response that is a key motivation for success.

Positive Words for Success

Everyone has the power to turn themselves on towards success and happiness. This is possible through the choice of positive words. These words spark a positive mindset and prompt our free-will to get into action.

In Pollyanna, Eleanor H. Porter says, “When you look for the bad, expecting it, you will get it. When you know you will find the good—you will get that…."

This exemplifies the power of words and how we can make use of positive words to get what we want. Scientists have been able to prove that creating positive sentence structures can trigger a physical reaction that enhances strength. By saying “Yes, it is possible!" can form a self-fulfilling insight.

Staying Positive at All Times

Positive words will help you stay positive for the longest time. When you keep hearing a word related to some physical action will automatically enhance the force with which you will grip objects. If the word’s presentation is negative, there will not be increased strength.

There will always be increased strength through affirming words in a sentence. However, it won’t be any reaction when same words are spoken in a negative form. According to Porter, “… there is something about everything that you can be glad about if you keep hunting long enough to find it."

It is therefore needed for people to stay positive for the longest time and this can only be achieved through the continued use of positive words.

A reason to stay positive

It doesn’t matter what is being pursued as long as there is a positive sense through affirming words that present a positive sense. You got to find a reason to stay positive about everything despite the challenges on the way.

Further, on the power of words, Pollyanna’s author says “Oh, yes; the game was to just find something about everything to be glad about—no matter what it’was". Shift focus on the only positive aspects and use positive words to identify with it. This is the power need to keep going.
Positive words have the therapeutic power to comfort and heal.

The incredible and therapeutic power of words is the difference between achievers and the rest.

If we all look at what we are supposed to do in life, we would probably quit all the time looking at what amount of work laid before us.

However, positive words are all we need to make progress and move on. According to Porter, “What men and women need is an encouragement. Their natural resisting powers should be strengthened, not weakened.

Therefore, it is very important to stay positive and this can only be sustained and reinforced through the use of positive words.

The Power of Positive Words

kindness-kind power THE POWER OF POSITIVE WORDS

The power of positive words – To me, a positive word equals a positive mindset. The language you use can change the path of your entire day.

Positivity in terms of the words that you use day-to-day is one of the best ways to improve your state of mind, yet it is a way that we often overlook.

This is why I am here today to tell you the importance of positive words in my life and the ways that I try to use them.

Meditation to increase the power of positive words

One way that I try to stay positive is to meditate as and when I can. This links to positive words because while I am being mindful of the thoughts and feelings that come and go, I try to keep as many positive words flowing through my mind.

Whether it is just sitting down, closing your eyes and taking deep breaths while going through positive language in your mind. Possibly downloading an app for mindfulness, reading a book about it or even using podcasts, there are endless ways to incorporate positivity into your life. If you use any of these methods you will find that the positive words will begin to flow into your world with little to no effort.

Compliments to express the power of positive words

When someone compliments you, you find your mood picking up entirely, don’t you? So why not gift that feeling to someone else.

It is important to let the people around you know that they have done something well, one of the best ways to do this is affirmation through positive language.

Another person that you must remember to shower with positivity is yourself. If you’re willing to raise someone else’s love for themselves, you have to include the one person who is always there. Yes, you!

Rewards to validate the power of positive words

All the way through your life there is always rewards systems. For example, behaving well in school often wound up coming back to you in the form of a certificate, trophy or another prize. These objects would always be plastered from top to bottom with positive words. This validation of good behaviour, positive contributions or effort in school would be what every child wanted. This is reflected forever in many other situations.

Reward yourself, tell yourself all of the positive impacts that you have made. Let your mind go and explore all of the possible positive words that you could use to describe your achievements.

Setting goals can be helpful in this aspect, useful objectives that can help yourself and others.

Times of stress

As a student who has gone through their GCSE’s, AS’ and being a hair away from beginning my A-Level exams, stress is particularly rife.

It is extremely easy to get yourself in a slight huff during exam season, this is why keeping the vibes positive is important in situations like that, especially within education.

Writing a list of positive words is something that I have found incredibly helpful in stressful situations. As I said at the start, positive words can completely transform your mindset. Times that require an expanded mindset are the ones that you need the most positivity.

Overall, I truly believe that using positive language day-to-day is potentially one of the most underrated ways to improve your life.

By sharing my opinion on positive words and how they affect me, I hope that others will be inspired to delve into their own use of productive language.

The Healing Power of Positive Words

Healing Power of Positive Words Think Positive

The Healing Power of Positive Words

Human’s eyes represent his mind, the tongue signifies his heart, and his arms legs represent human will. The tongue is a small body organ, yet death and life reside in the power of the tongue. Words can have a positive or negative impact on our lives. A person’s speech is so powerful, that you can easily determine their mental wellbeing from the words they utter. Words have power, and proper use of the power requires wisdom. This blog explores the power of speech and gives advice for exercising wisdom in whatever you say.

1. Your Body Is the Temple of God

As an individual recognize God that resides in the tip of your tongue and in each heart of a human being. Harmful words ruin the temple of God that is located in your heart. As God’s worker on earth, you need to ensure that positive speech becomes an integral part of your life. Develop an internal alchemy that turns destructive compassion into a passion, and disliking into sympathy.

2. Positive Words Relieve Mental Burdens

Gentle words often turn even the hardest of souls. God exists in each and every human being. When we use positive feeling words and act towards another people, we shift the karmic balance by paying the previous debt. When we speak positively to another person, we relieve them of their mental burden and bring him on the way to self-analysis and light. Nothing is more discouraging than hurtful gossip, criticism, and negative speech. If you keep on slandering and gossiping about others, you are denying yourself the opportunity to be truly happy in your life.

3. Positive Words Have a Healing Effect

Words have an incredible healing power in people’s lives. Words of love, comfort and encouragement have a positive impact on people’s lives. This is evidenced by health in the body. Positive speech is a weapon against disease and bad luck. Take control of your tongue, to ensure it speaks no evil against the absent or departed. Make sure your words do not injure a person’s reputation. Practice self-control, good company and good words as they bring light to the heart. Familiarize yourself with these rules checklist on how to be happy.

4. Positive Words Uplift People’s Lives

If you are blessed in life, nature expects you to recompense the blessings you have received by uplifting others with your words. In doing so, more blessings, wealth, and health will come your way. If you fail to do so, then you are only denying yourself the joy and happiness you would have gained from uplifting other people’s lives. On the other hand, if you speak negatively about other people, you absorb their bad karma and dissipate the blessings you had gained, that you would have otherwise received.

The following are interesting beliefs regarding the impact of negative, hurtful words.

  • If you have an island under the ring finger or a line of line – it’s not a good sign.
  • A star at the base of your middle finger is not favorable. That is the reply for the sin of slander would be great.
  • A cross under the ring and/or middle fingers brings negativity in the life of those offending others.
  • If a cross appears on your mount of Venus, abstain from stay away from slander, gossip, and negativity, since they will directly impact your relations.

5. Positive Words Strengthen Our Relationships

Speech is the Light of Infinity which should be constantly increasing. We should approach our listeners humbly, and show them our intellectual gift by the words we speak. We should center our conversations around truths. We should also show modesty and respect in our speech. If you look around you, a lot of people are bringing down their love relationships, friendships and careers by speaking lies, being arrogant and showing disrespect in the way they speak with their partners.

6. Positive Words Create and Support Light

The Word is God and God is the Word. When God created us, he intended for us to be the Spirit of Light that guides all those who have strayed from the path of light. The tongue, should, therefore, not be used to destroy others. When you gossip, you attract negative forces that invade your body, mind, and heart. Such forces suck out the light out of you, leaving you weak and unable to exercise control over your heart and body. The only way to avoid this situation is by dedicating the words that come from your mouth to create light and support others who might be too weak having been possessed by dark forces.

7. Positive Words Improve the World

The world we live in is full of karma. We always hear that karma will get back at us in one way or the other. Your achievements, challenges and everything you go, are not by accident. Rather, they are the result of karma. Instead of attracting negative karma, you can attract positive karma. By using deliberate words and actions that are intentionally constructive, we set positive forces in motion, that will act on the good for all mankind. Positive words will improve your life and further karma incarnations, and by extension, improve the world through enlightenment.

In conclusion, positive thinking is something that you need to practice over a great deal of time to get it in your system. An empty stomach brings out the negative energy from your body. To help yourself, you need to eat healthy, at regular times and also stay out in the sun as bonding with nature cancels out the negative forces. Above all, learn to love yourself by taking good care of your body, refraining from listening to and participating in negative talk. This way, you will always keep your mind, heart, and body healthy. Here is an inspirational speech to get you going in your endeavors.
