5 Principles That Make You Successful in Less Than 10 Years

Success is not easily attainable. You need a strong dosage of courage and boldness to reach it. You also need intelligence and commitment to set powerful, meaningful life goals, and patience to let all of the magic happen. There is no “key to success,” as many people might say. There’s only one way you can conquer this world and achieve your goals: self-confidence and honesty.

In order to be good at something, you must first be honest with you, and see where you stand. Are you on the bottom end? Are you on the top end? How would you describe your results compared to other peoples’? After you’ve answered that question, next step is working towards your self-confidence.

Accept what you should improve, and be bold enough to keep your head up no matter the circumstances. If you don’t see any tangible results after a while, don’t give up. It’s your goal, it’s your life. Make the best out of it.

Here are some ideas on how to climb the success ladder in less than 10 years. No jokes, I promise. Just (painful?) truths.

1. Not All People Are Successful

As I’ve warned you, I am going, to be honest with you. Most of the people you talk to, listen to, and care about won’t be successful. They might talk a lot about life goals, plans, and strategies, but they will get lost in the process. Their plans will disappear once they hit reality. They will understand that in the real world, you must provide in order to survive, and give out more than you can take.

For most people, that is a bummer. Such a bummer that most of them give up. They stop trying, and they blame it on society. They become “disappointed with life,” and lose it. They can’t evolve anymore because they need to survive – and in order to survive, they need to provide.

I am giving you this honest truth so you know what to expect. 95% of the people around you aren’t going to be successful. You might. But you must first understand how to join the 5%.

2. Keep Your Head in The Game

There are many things to remember if you want to reach success – but the first one is always the crucial one. Keep your head in the game! No matter how many difficulties you might go through, no matter how much you suffer, no matter how stressed out you are, you have to keep going. How to start:

  • Focus on your daily tasks
  • Don’t let people distract you. If they do, avoid any contact you have with them while you work
  • Be persistent
  • Face your fears
  • Let go of negative thoughts and emotions
  • Push, push, push

3. There Will Be Hard Times

You already know this, but it’s true. There will be hard times, but they shall pass. Don’t let yourself be overwhelmed by negative thinking and too many worries. Keep your head in the game, concentrate on your work, and from time to time, don’t forget to have some fun. There is no way you’ll be able to survive hard times by staying in your bed and watching Netflix alone.

Go out, meet new people, socialize, find new connections, expand your friends’ circle – you need that as a human! But then always come back to your work! Hard times will pass, but your success rate has to stay constant, or improve. Most people get lost in this part of the process. These life obstacles overwhelm them deeply, and they can’t find the courage to stand up again. Don’t be one of these people. Stand up and fight.

4. Get Out of Your Comfort Zone

Being comfortable feels nice and cozy, but is it really good for you? Think about it. If you spend your entire life in a “normal,” regular setting, are you going to evolve? Are you going to be exposed to unusual situations? Are you going to learn from your experiences? Probably not. That’s why you must get out of your comfort zone.

One of my best friends once told me: “Experiencing failure and discomfort is crucial in the process of reaching success. I saw that in myself. Becoming one of the best professional writers online was not an easy job, but I made it – of course, after endless tries.”

“There are so many things to learn, see, face, accomplish, that you can’t run away from all of them – and you shouldn’t,” she continued. “I am not sure how you define success, but we can surely agree that success means evolution, doesn’t it?”

That’s when I thought: “Well.. how am I going to evolve without the necessary setting?” And guess what I did? I got out of my comfort zone. I left home and started a completely new life on my own.

Take your first step. Do that now. Start your journey. Every small step counts.

5. Give Up on Distractions

If there are things or people in your life that you find distracting, it’s time to kiss them goodbye. If you’ve decided to be part of the top 5%, there is no way you can let others steal your dream. Ex-boyfriends/girlfriends, bad parents, awful friends – they need to go away and leave space for the good things that will follow.

Side Note: There is one more thing I would like to add. It’s not a principle per se, it’s more like a life advice. Don’t make success only about the money. In the short term, money might bring happiness and joy, but in the long term, there is more to life than that. Find your passions and develop them into something special – that is the only way you can truly reach success.

Best 6 Tips On Teaching Kids How to Write a Paragraph

Being a parent is probably one of the most difficult tasks, so you need to be ready to accept every challenge. Especially, when your child is entering school and needs to write his first paragraphs and essays.

Especially, when your child is entering school and needs to write his first paragraphs and essays. And when your child asks you to help to “write my paper“.

Not all children are born to be writers and find it difficult to put their thoughts onto paper. That is why parents do whatever it takes to help their children and try to complete homework together. You should always consider such assignments as a chance to spend time together, without putting too much pressure on your child and his abilities.

This article contains useful tips and advice, which will surely help your child to write paragraphs without any difficulties. Remember, the best way to write well is to write about something that you are interested in. Spend some time to choose a topic, determine parts of the text and build a sort of a ‘hamburger’. Proofread and edit the paragraphs you have and you will surely create a text, worth the highest grades!

1. Select an Interesting Topic

Usually, the teacher gives quite a limited number of topics to choose from or offers only one. However, if you have a chance to select the topic, make sure it is familiar and interesting. In such a way, your child will find it much easier to write and complete the assignment properly.

Such topics may include hobbies, like sports or music, book reviews, favorite cartoons or descriptions of places and events. Most children also find it quite easy to write about members of the family or describe the scenery.

2. Identify the parts of a paragraph

Knowing the approximate structure of the paragraph may greatly simplify the whole task, so you need to help your child to make an outline or a brief plan of the future work:

  • Thematic sentence. It opens the essay and conveys the main thought;
  • Details, which give additional information on the subject;
  • A conclusion that tells about data, presented in the paragraph.

Remember that your paragraph should be simple and straight to the point, without heavy constructions and too many details. They may be confusing and your child will find it difficult to follow the topic.

3. The hamburger paragraph

Sometimes children may find it difficult to understand the structure above, so you can use the example of the ‘hamburger’ to explain everything clearly.

Try to show your child that any paragraph should consist of certain layers, as explained above. These layers resemble a hamburger, which also consists of ingredients that have a certain structure.

4. Using Real Examples

The best way to explain the structure of an essay or a paragraph is to use examples. Show your child different books or magazines and try to explain how the paragraph is built.

Try to choose the books or articles he likes, which describe simple things and have a clear structure, without too many details and elements.

5. Make a paragraph puzzle

Once you have explained everything about the parts of the paragraph, offer your child to play a game of puzzles. Choose a simple paragraph and divide it into pieces, like a puzzle.

Offer your child to connect these pieces together and you will see how easily your child will understand and remember the structure of any paragraph.  You can complete this task multiple times until your child will master the technique and will be able to divide the paragraph and gather it together without anyone’s help.

6. Write and edit the paragraphs

The first thing you need to do is to create a draft of your paragraph, as described above. It shouldn’t be flawless and contain only the main ideas you are going to include in the text.

Then you need to proofread your paragraph multiple times and edit the parts, which don’t seem to fit.

Not all these tools and methods may help your child to complete a good and thoughtful paragraph but you should avoid scolding him!  You need to remember that not all children are born to be writers and your child may have better skills in music, math, or dancing.

The educational system has made a step forward, neglecting the rules of compulsory studies, so there is always a chance to contact a professional writing service, like Ohmyessay, which will always be ready to help.

Top 4 Mental and Interpersonal Skills To Benefit Your Career

You are about to hack into the best way to obtain the key to your dream career. Have you ever thought that there is a set of skills that are effective in any domain you choose to work in? These skills fall into the mental or interpersonal category that some are born with. But few are aware of how much they value, so it’s important to spot your personal assets from the beginning and work on them.

Interpersonal skills will not only help you climb the career ladder, but they will also improve the quality of your personal life. By mastering them, you will get to become a better self and reach any goal of yours.

Why have the interpersonal skills won so much ground in any chosen career?

Most of the jobs today have shifted from physical work to the office environment. Along with this change, the employee has become a link in the working chain. The employee is now interconnected with the system as a whole: clients, colleagues, and management. Working alone is not an option anymore, not even for programmers, cooks, or clerks. And this is where your interpersonal skills come in. By gaining control over your work relations and connections, you will easily mold your future exactly the way you want it. So let’s begin to disclose these skills!

1. Negotiation

This is the skill you need to help you stand up for yourself. No one should ever just speak up their mind on what they would rather do to whomever they meet. This is definitely not the professional attitude your employer seeks in you. For a perfect negotiating dialogue, start by detecting the benefits of your wish. Will this action you are in favor of bringing mutual content?

After answering that question, choose the right words to describe your point of view, adopting a calm and understanding tone. It is of utmost importance to also pay attention to your negotiating partner. Many times, you will have to compromise, but do not jump to conclusions. Take a step back and see the bigger picture. Will the terms of the negotiations bring you the desired outcome while keeping a good relationship with your partner? Then, congratulations, you have just finished an ideal negotiation dialogue.

2. Leadership

Self-confidence, charisma, and hard work are the main elements that a leader should acquire. This skill will bring you the most desired work position: manager. You might think that a manager has too many advantages for an equal work ethic, but behind a happy, successful manager stand many struggles, failures, and obstacles. There is quite a lot of effort in becoming a leader, and no one should take it lightly.

The main goal of a leader is that of creating the perfect team: one that works like a well-oiled machine. And this is where the hard work begins. To accomplish this, one needs to find and select the ideal candidates for him (not too under or overqualified), create a solid strategy, organize training sessions, and clearly communicate how they want things to work out.

3. Taking Responsibility

This skill should be studied by every adult out there: take the blame for your own actions. You must be aware that every action has a set of consequences among which there is always the risk of failure. Own your actions, take the risk and coldly analyze the situations they trigger after they are implemented. Learn from your mistakes and develop strategies to avoid these situations in the future.

Being afraid of failure is also a dark spot on your interpersonal skills. You will definitely win the appreciation of others if you take the courage to carry out that bold marketing strategy that no one dared to even think about. There are chances that you might fail, but how else can you out better yourself?

4. Positive Outlook

So, you have a strong team, and nobody has ever questioned your work ethics, but do you still manage to find your inner joy? There will always be a higher goal to achieve, that you can be sure of. You will always chase after self-improvement and self-contentment, and if you don’t start enjoying this ride, you will lose yourself in this game of life. Exercise spotting the good side of any event or “fake it till you make it” as people say. Your good mood will influence everybody around you and improve their performance. Not to mention that positive thinking can help you find a job, which will launch you into a new career path.

Studies found that positive people are better at problem solving and they have a better life quality. So, what is there to lose if you choose to be happy?

There are many other mental and interpersonal skills. Make an in-depth research about them and get to know your own special skills better. Nobody is perfect which means that there is always room for improvement. Never stop learning and believe in yourself!
