Loving Kindness Photo For International Women’s Day

This photo with loving kindness was specially created for 8 March – International Woman’s Day. Thank you for being so kind to visually 🙂 receive from Positive Words Research a trinket together with the positive word: Loving Kindness. The trinket is a clover with 4 leaves, meant to be for good luck.

“Just as compassion is the wish that all sentient beings be free of suffering, loving-kindness is the wish that all may enjoy happiness. As with compassion, when cultivating loving-kindness it is important to start by taking a specific individual as a focus of our meditation, and we then extend the scope of our concern further and further, to eventually encompass and embrace all sentient beings. Again, we begin by taking a neutral person, a person who inspires no strong feelings in us, as our object of meditation. We then extend this meditation to individual friends and family members and, ultimately, our particular enemies. We must use a real individual as the focus of our meditation, and then enhance our compassion and loving-kindness toward that person so that we can really experience compassion and loving-kindness toward others. We work on one person at a time.” – Dalai Lama XIV

Photos And Quotes About Love To Make You Feel Loved

Please find here some pictures and quotes about love. This post is a little celebration of love in many of its forms.

Because, love exists in many forms. There is love in relationships, love towards yourself and love for the beauty of life.

Love is complex and yet some say it is simple. Others say that everything is love and others say that there are other things besides love. Some want love very much, others really don’t want it at all. In any case, love has been glorified and talked about for many generations. Therefore, we also offer a small token of gratitude for love through this short post.

The Love For Your Passion

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” – Rumi

Sometimes we have a passion that we have found since we were little and other times the passion for a project finds us. Whatever it is in life, it is good to have a passion. Your passion becomes like an ikigai, a reason for being. I did this collage in 2013 when I started the project Positive Words Research. It is a declaration of how much I love, appreciate and I am grateful for researching positive words.

LOVE

The Love For Creativity

“What you seek is seeking you.” – Rumi

Sometimes in the innocence of a desire there is a great power that immediately attracts around you all the resources you need. I took this picture in a mall in my town. I was thinking of doing an article with quotes and real pictures with the word Love. Then I entered in the mall and here it was, the word LOVE written super huge.

LOVE

Self-Love

“The softer intensity of Love is Loving Kindness!” – Positive Words Research

Someone said that, you, of all people, deserve your love and affection. We forget that every day. Why? I do not know. But sometimes we remember. And we show some love and appreciation to ourselves. This is me. I did this collage for this post back in 2013.

Keep Your Words Positive: Your Words Become Your Behavior

“Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words. Keep your words positive because your words become your behavior. Keep your behavior positive because your behavior becomes your habit. Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values. Keep your values positive because your values become your destiny.” – Mahatma Gandhi

The important words in this quote are THOUGHTS, WORDS, BEHAVIOR, HABITS, VALUES, DESTINY.

Gandhi used the word “positive” in relation to the first 3 words: THOUGHTS, WORDS, BEHAVIOR. The remaining 3 words HABITS, VALUES, and DESTINY do not have the word “positive” associated with them. Why? When you focus on keeping positive your THOUGHTS, WORDS, BEHAVIOR then you do not have to work on keeping your HABITS, VALUES, and DESTINY positive, because they will become automatically positive and benefit you. Your thoughts, words, and behavior are the cause (the source), while your habits, values, and destiny are only consequences.

According to a study, for a mature brain, 80% of the THOUGHTS are internalized sentences, the rest being images and others. A significant amount of your thoughts are only sentences and sentences are made of simple words. Words are words. but thoughts are also words, at least in a significant amount.

You need to know positive words in order to create positive sentences. It is good for you to have the ability to not create negative sentences, which a lot of people do by understanding the negative, fighting, and correcting it. What is quite essential for your well-being is to have the ability to create positive sentences in your mind, so that you know how to think positively, so that you can be happy.

Keep Words Positive

Awareness of a Certain Word Makes You Feel That Word

Albert Einstein says: “Problems cannot be solved at the same level of awareness that created them.”

It tells us that when you have a problem, first increase your level of awareness and then try to solve it. Applied to the world of emotions, when you have an emotional problem first increase your level of awareness and then try to solve it. But what awareness should you increase? the negative or the positive one? Read further.

You feel bad and hurt because you are focusing too much on a certain negative word, trying to understand it, not getting over it, and letting it go. You are staying UNDER the negative emotion (to UNDERstand it) not getting OVER it by increasing the energy of your positive emotions which will lift you higher than your problems. You label negative emotion with negative words and you get yourself stuck with that emotion. For the moment you are located at the level of awareness of that negative word. The solution is to increase your awareness for the positive word, which is the opposite of the negative word but not quite likes the antonyms.

For example, the opposite of anger is self-love, self-compassion, self-kindness. You become aware of the fact that you are burning yourself with anger because you are disconnected from yourself. Anger is always created because we don’t take care of ourselves when we really need to.

How to Use the Power of Words

  1. Label with a single word your negative emotion. For example: “I am sad”, but don’t try to understand it. Because your brain will focus on the word “sad” and provide you answers about why you are sad. But you do not need to know why you are sad, you actually need to know how you can be happy. Read step two.
  2. Immediately replace the negative word with a positive word: “I am not happy”. Now is time to understand why you are not happy. You will see that your mind will focus on the word happy and provide a solution for you about what to do to be happier. But don’t stop here, read step three.
  3. Start repeating in your mind the word “happiness”. Even better, you can write down on a piece of paper the word “HAPPINESS” with caps. Do this reinforcement of the word “happiness”, at least 35 times. Then, start researching about the word: happiness. Read in the dictionary what happiness means. Increase your awareness by reading articles on the internet on the word happiness. Go further and read books about happiness. You will discover a magic new world you never knew about.

Bring more magic into your life by researching the word GRATITUDE or inspire yourself from the List of Positive Words created by Positive Words Research. Continue your research about positive words,  because it will take you to the positive side of life. Anyway, life is short, you do not have time to think and do something else than beauty in your life. Access the list of positive words to brighten your day!

15 Words You Should Think Daily to Be Happy

Are you searching to find words you should think about daily to be happy? Here is a list of 15 words which, if you learn and use them, will make your life a lot easier and much, much happier. Each positive word is important and we recommend using it daily, in different circumstances. The order of the words from this list is random.

While living: we need to tell ourselves the words we need, to become conscious of, and when, we need to hear them, and not to keep silent or tell to us negative words. We use so many words that cause us a great deal of pain, stress, and suffering. Instead of allowing ourselves to think daily simple and happy – we cling to not saying those particular words that our being is yearning to hear. Not anymore. Starting today we will embrace change. Ready? Here we go:

1. Gratitude

This word has immense power and it can literally change people’s lives. Prosperity is attracted by gratitude. Acknowledge, praise and appreciate what you see. Occupy your mind with thoughts that express gratitude and your life will flourish above your wildest dreams. Appreciate things you like but appreciate also the things that you don’t like. When you appreciate the things you don’t like, you clear the dust around the hidden blessings. All other positive emotions grow only from the field of gratitude. This is why Cicero said: “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues but the parent of all others”

How can you practice gratitude in the simplest way? In the evening, when you are in bed, before falling asleep, recall in your mind some things or events from the past day, that made you glad and brought you joy. In the morning, start your day by giving thanks to every object that you use in your house. If you want to practice gratitude even more then keep a journal with things you are grateful for in your life. You can write sentences beginning with: “I am sincerely grateful for”, “I am so happy with”, “Thank you for”.

From all of the words you should think daily to be happy, gratitude is very important.

2. Beauty

This word keeps you beautiful inside and out. The energy of this word will shine from you, giving you a magic glow, making you look beautiful also on the outside, no matter how you look. When you embody beauty and you really feel inside that you are beautiful, people will look at you see that you are beautiful, even if you might not have perfect features.

It guides your eyes to focus on beautiful things. When you look in the mirror, use this word and feel how much you actually treasure your body. Don’t you know? You are beautiful. “For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone” – Audrey Hepburn

3. Forgiveness

Forgiveness makes you feel light in the present, it clears heaviness. Forgiveness is essential especially for elder women because this is the way they let go so that they live in the present in warm emotions. Don’t you know? You are already forgiven by God for everything that you did, do, or will do. You are only waiting for self-forgiveness. “Forgiveness liberates the soul, it removes fear. That’s why it is such a powerful weapon.” – Nelson Mandela

4. Happiness

Let all others create the life they want, you focus on your happiness. When you are happy you shine a light onto others, onto life. It always starts with you in this light. You feel it first internal and then you pour onto external. Only when you overflow with happiness you can pretend that you actually share and give happiness to others. “Happiness is a state of mind. It’s just according to the way you look at things” – Walt Disney

6. Health

Thinking and talking about your good health is the best way to have a healthy body. Feeling grateful for your health heals yourself of anything. “The body is the temple of the soul” – Dr. Oz

8. Solution

If the problem exists then the solution exists also. Know you have a choice. Direct your mind to see the solution, rather than dwell on the problem. By focusing on finding solutions you learn and grow. Searching for the solution would be to ask yourself what do you want, after knowing what you don’t want. “When the solution is simple, God is answering” – Albert Einstein

Thinking Negative: Stop It With Positive Words Language Now

You can express your positive emotions with positive words, but you can also express your negative emotions, negating positive words. This way of thinking will make your brain happy and it is called positive thinking – thinking positively. This way of thinking is different than explaining positive emotions by negating negative words and explaining negative emotions with negative words. This way of thinking will make your brain unhappy and it is called negative thinking – thinking negative.

According to Positive Words Research, positive thinking means using positive words in your thoughts, either in affirmations or negations, in explaining your positive emotions or either in explaining your negative emotions.

It is scientifically proven that thoughts have a significant impact on ourselves and the reality around us. Thoughts even travel long distances in the entire universe, influencing matter. See the scientific works of Nassim Haramein and his contribution to the project The Connected Universe that has forever changed the course of world science.

We also know that a mature person mainly speaks with himself through thoughts formed of words. He thinks with images also but the inner dialog is frequently and constantly used by all adults.

It has been scientifically proven that positive words and negative words influence the structure of the water. See the groundbreaking scientific experiments and discoveries of Masaru Emoto:

It has also been scientifically proven that our body consists of more than 60% water. Because our body is composed of up to 60% water, the words that are closest to us influence us significantly. What other words can be closer to us than our own words?

It is scientifically proven that, through the mind of a mature person, is crossing almost 60,000 words every day. This equals to a book. Every day, every one of us thinks an entire book. These are a lot of words.

Positive Words Cloud LOVE

Our own thoughts give us a certain disposition, emotion, vibration which influence the reality around us. We interact with the reality every moment, while we think. We think that we can perceive. We think that we can explain things to ourselves.

We call a brain that uses positive words in the thinking process a happy brain – the positive brain.

Therefore the “method” through which we construct sentences in our brain is very important. The words that you use to talk with yourself, when you explain things to yourself is highly important. Also, the words that you use to build sentences in your brain ultimately, overall, make you have a “happy brain” or an “unhappy brain”. The brain, as an organ, has the ability to process words and the brain is happy when he bathes in “positive words” (pays with positive words to construct sentences) and unhappy the other way around.

Negative words are hard, heavy for the structure of the brain, while positive words are lighter.

happy brain - happy mind - positive brain

We call a brain that doesn’t use positive words in the thinking process an unhappy brain – the negative brain. You will see below why Positive Words Research considers that is not the use of negative words that makes a brain negative, it is the not using of the positive words that upset the brain so much.

Please see below a combination of words that a happy brain is processing in comparison with words that an unhappy brain is processing.

As a note: A happy brain makes you feel happy while an unhappy brain makes you feel… unhappy.

See below two examples of ways that a happy brain expresses himself versus how an unhappy brain expresses himself. Compare each word in each line. Compare the words that the happy brain is using, with the words that the unhappy brain is using. Both brains try to explain the same thing but with different words.

There are two examples to sustain this statement that reflect how the positive brain thinks versus how the negative brain thinks:

I am peaceful/ I am happy/ I feel at ease/ I love you/ I have energy/ I am healthy.

The Unhappy Brain

I am not anxious/  I am not sad/ I am not frustrated/ I don’t hate you/ I am not tired/ I am not sick.

2. Explaining Negative Emotions

The Happy Brain

I am not peaceful/ I am not happy/ I don’t feel at ease/ I don’t love you/ I don’t have energy/ I am not healthy.

The Unhappy Brain

I am anxious/ I am sad/ I feel frustrated/ I hate you/ I am tired/ I am sick.

Note that in both the above examples the happy brain is using positive words to express himself and the unhappy brain is using negative words. The happy brain is a positive brain while the unhappy brain is a negative brain.

Comparisons Between The Happy And The Unhappy Brain

  1. The happy brain – knows a lot of positive words also called abundance words (words that draw abundance). The unhappy brain – knows a lot of negative words also called lack words (words that keep the lack in your life).
  2. The happy brain – due to “being used to thinking in a certain way” the person with a happy brain will be pushed by his brain to create sentences mainly with the vocabulary of positive words. The unhappy brain – due to “being used to thinking in a certain way” the person with a happy brain will be pushed by his brain to create sentences mainly with the vocabulary of negative words.
  3. The happy brain – the person talks to himself mainly with sentences having positive words, he does not become conscious of the negative words, his brain is not noticing negative words in a text, talks less neutral because he likes to use positive words. The unhappy brain – The person talks to himself mainly with sentences with neutral words or negative words.
  4. The happy brain – the person talks to others with sentences having positive words; the person does not notice negative words and does not feel the need to use so many neutral words. The unhappy person talks to others with sentences with neutral words or negative words. He also tries to hold back from mentioning the negative words, which the person becomes aware of them a lot of times during a day.
  5. The happy brain – the person understands life through his vocabulary of positive words. The unhappy brain – the person understands life through his vocabulary of negative words.
  6. The happy brain – the person has knowledge of negative words but the words do not come to his brain to form sentences because the positive words occupy all of the main places in his brain. Positive words are always found in active consciousness. The unhappy Brain – the person has very little knowledge of the vocabulary of positive words. When you give to the person a paper and a pen and ask him to write positive words, he is unable to come up with many words, he only knows a very limited number of positive words.

What matters for the brain, in feeling good, is to focus and think daily positive words. Not thinking positive words is significantly worse than thinking negative words.

To put it in a funny way, you can swear as much as you want but make sure to use positive words every day and you will be OK. Your brain will be happy!

During our experiments, we also notice the following striking reality… on a not so funny note.

  • Some of the people don’t know the notion of positive words.
  • Most of the people know the notion of negative words but don’t know much about the notion of positive words.
  • Most people search on the internet information about negative emotions, which are searched on Google using negative words, like depression, anxiety, hate, fear etc. And don’t think of looking on the internet for information about positive feelings and emotions, which are searched on Google using positive words, like compassion, loving-kindness, serenity. Even simple words like happiness, joy, beauty, magic, which could lift their spirit instantly are not searched by them, making them lack the necessary information to create their good vibe.
  • Other people don’t know that there are lists of positive words on the internet that they can explore.
  • Referring to the people that asked what positive words meanwhile being shown for the first time this list of positive words, they felt like they found an entire new happy world that they knew nothing about. Most probably so many positive words that also stand for many positive feelings and emotions made a huge impact on them.
  • Most of the people make a separation between negative words and positive words and consider them as being in opposite categories. They consider that one part implies the other part. They say that negative words imply positive words and positive words imply negative words. But how could their brain know to imply loving-kindness when they hate, how could hate imply loving-kindness, how could loving-kindness imply hate, when your brain is familiar with the word hate but is not familiar with the word loving-kindness, is not familiar with words like blessings, blissfulness, gratitude, appreciation, self-love etc. From where should these words come to you if you don’t put them in your brain? It should come from words like anxiety, tension, stress, horrible, tragic, sad?
  • Most people consider that by knowing a lot about depression, anxiety, fear, hate, tension, stress etc. they can eventually get rid of them and be happy. They don’t consider that they should stop researching depression and start researching happiness and other positive feelings like forgiveness, compassion, loving-kindness, peace of mind, equanimity etc. They are not aware that these positive feelings and emotions are keywords and that if they don’t know the name of the positive emotion, they have a gap and need to fill it by scanning a list of positive words.

Note: Currently, Positive Words Research is performing research called “mapping positive words with negative words”. The main benefit for this mapping is to know which positive words are the precise antidote for negative words, therefore knowing which positive emotion is the antidote of negative emotion.

Why not using positive words in your thinking is significantly worse than thinking negatively?

Not using positive words in your thinking is significantly worse than thinking negatively because you don’t know what positive feelings and emotions are out there in the world, you don’t know the potential of your human body. Positive words are keywords to attain well-being, keywords that you put in the Google search box to find and access information, keywords that you put in your brain to access your own well-being.

Story About Publishing the Book Magic Sparkles of Happiness

I have written during 2012 and 2013, with a lot of passion and inspiration, a new book which I named: Magic Sparkles of Happiness – a spiritual guide for feeling happiness.

I have decided to publish the eBook on 28 August, on Smashwords. In this way, Magic Sparkles of Happiness was released on Smashwords on 28 August 2013.

But it turned out that in the United States it was 29 August when I published it, which is the birthday of Michael Jackson. This was a wonderful surprise because one of my passions is dance.

I have been in many dance camps, in Romania and in SDK Europe Street Dance Camp, located in Jedovnice (near Brno, Czech Republic). And one of my favorite music to dance on is the songs of Michael Jackson.

Enjoy the book! It has the magic of positive words in it. Go to Smashwords to get the book. Access the list of positive words to brighten your day!

SELF-RELIEF definition and meaning | Dictionary of Positive Words

What is the definition and meaning of self relief?

While I was reading the book “The Astonishing Power of Emotions” by Esther and Jerry Hicks, I encounter the word “relief”. When I encounter this word, it was not so important for me, but in this book, it is very much praised.  I understood why and it becomes one of my favorite positive words.

SELF RELIEF definition – meaning | Dictionary Positive Words

I searched in the dictionary the description of “relief” and among others, I found these:

  • a pleasant or amusing change; a diversion;
  • a feeling of cheerfulness or optimism that follows the removal of negative emotion;
  • deliverance from or alleviation of negative emotion;
  • a feeling of comfort or ease caused by such alleviation or deliverance;
  • money, food, or other help, given to those in poverty or need;
  • the feeling that comes when something burdensome is removed or reduced;
  • the condition of being comfortable or relieved (especially after being relieved of distress).
SELF-RELIEF

I also found related words with RELIEF as being ALLEVIATION, ASSUAGEMENT, COMFORT (a feeling of freedom from negative emotions, a state of being relaxed and feeling no negative emotion), FREEDOM, EASE, RELAXATION, ASSIST, HELP, AID, CONSOLATION, REST, PAUSE, SUSPENSION, BREAK, BREATH, EASING, MODERATION, CHANGE, WELFARE, REDUCTION, STEP-DOWN, DECOMPRESSING, CURE, REMEDY, REFRESHMENT.

I could not find “giving up” related to “relief”. Relief is not giving up. Relief feels good while giving up does not feel good.

And then I put the word SELF in front of RELIEF and become SELF-RELIEF.

Our responsibility is self-relief. Some people wait for relief from other people, from parents, lovers, husband/wife, brother/sister, friend or they wait for relief to come on holiday or at night when they sleep, or they eat to feel relief. During an entire day they struggle a lot, they fight a lot and they don’t provide to themselves self-relief, exactly at the moment when they need it when they should.

People wait for relief from outside themselves. But relief comes from inside you because it’s actually self-relief. You can, of course, use external resources to provide self relief to yourself but you must be conscious that the action must be initiated by yourself, from inside yourself.

Whenever you need relief you should provide it to yourself. Don’t wait for no one to provide it to you; this is freedom. To provide to yourself relief in life whenever you need it, through a simple action, even one such are “taking a deep breath”, “writing your thoughts in a journal”, “taking a walk in the park”, “saying a good word to yourself”, “smile” is the best thing you can do in life.

Don’t wait for relief from anyone except yourself, not even from God, if you think God is an entity outside yourself. I for one believe that God is part of me, so when I provide relief to myself I know that is God’s wish actually.

Self-relief can come in many forms. It can be self-love, self-respect, self-appreciation, and many others. Or it can be a huge self-relief in the form of self-forgiveness. A lot of people that I know don’t forgive themselves. Some of them don’t even know that they could do this and the others don’t do it because they don’t think they deserve it. But all humans deserve self-forgiveness which is actually a form of self-relief.

Self-relief is about noticing the moments when you need it and respecting and loving yourself enough to listen to yourself and immediately respond to you in a positive way. Most of the time self-relief is not about making big changes in your life. Self-relief must be consistent because it adds up over time and compounds.

When you self-relieve yourself every day, making very small actions (sometimes just a deep breath exactly when you need it) it compounds over time (in one year for example) and you reach good health, good life, good feelings, and better. It adds up. All the small self-reliefs that you do to yourself daily adds up. This is why they say “small things matter most” because they add up over time.
